Cabinet Pulls
Cabinet Pull
When you’re assembling cabinet pulls to your cabinet, you’ll want to cut the cupboard divider and the cupboard shelves to size. Apply veneer tape to the front edges of all the shelves. Draw reference lines on the cupboard bottom and cupboard top from the left side for proper positioning of the divider of your cabinet pulls. These lines should align with the marks made earlier on the back panel of your cabinet pulls.

Set the divider of your cabinet pulls between the cupboard top and bottom, so the left face is aligned with the reference lines. Attach it with glue and wood screws driven through the top and bottom panels into the divider of your cabinet pulls. Draw reference lines on the interior face of the right side panel and on the right side of the divider. Use these lines to position the larger cupboard shelves and your cabinet pulls.
Draw reference lines for the smaller cupboard shelf on the interior of the left side panel and left face of the divider up from the cupboard bottom. Apply glue to the side edges of all three shelves and the cabinet pulls on the interior of the left side panel and left face of the diver flush on the reference lines. Fasten your shelves with wood screws, driven through the sides and the divider into the shelves.

Next, you should fasten your shelves with wood screws driven through the sides and the divider into the shelves. Glue birch wood plugs into all the exposed counter bores in the cupboard and into the cabinet pulls. When the glue has dried, sand the plugs down to the surface of the plywood and be careful not to scar the wood. Then attach the back panel to the cupboard with glue and wood screws driven into the side, bottom, and top cupboard panels. Make sure the edges of the back panel are flush with the side panels of the cupboard and the cabinet pulls.
Cut the rack dividers, shelves, and cabinet pulls to size. To make the angled cut in the upper divider, mark a point on one long edge. Draw a straight line from that point to the bottom corner on the opposite end. Cut along the line, using a circular saw, and sand the edges from that point to the bottom smooth, and your cabinet pulls will be in place.
